Account Balance Protection
We’ve got you covered all the way. No worries, when you’re a Hub Club Account Member, we’ll take care of your outstanding balance on your Hub Club Card in the event of your death.
All claims must be notified as soon as possible and no later than 120 days after the insured event by contacting the Hub on 031 582 1100 or by visiting your nearest store.
HOW TO CLAIM- the next of kin must complete a Hub Club Death claim form available in-store and submit a certified copy of the deceased account holders identity document, certified copy of the death certificate and the BI1663 form supplied by the mortuary. You must return it to the Hub within 30 days of receipt.
WHAT WE WILL NOT PAY FOR-all claims submitted 120 days after date of death, deceased account is in arrears at date of death and/or purchases have been made on deceased account after date of death.

ID Theft Cover
Although it’s easy to change your look, it’s not so easy to change your Identity. Recovery isn’t cheap, but luckily if you’re a Club Member all your communication costs in retrieving your ID with relevant parties are covered… the police; credit agencies; financial service providers; other creditors; debt collection agencies; legal counsel or similar bodies (phew!).
We will pay for any loan rejection fees and any re-application administration fees, reasonable legal costs to defend any case brought against you or for the removal or deletion of any criminal or civil judgments incorrectly registered against you as a result of the theft of your ID.
We will also cover your loss of earning for any unpaid leave you have had to take to defend or resolve an identity document theft.

Passport & Driving License Cover
We want you to keep going places! So get this, if your passport or driving license is lost or stolen, we will reimburse you for any charges you have to pay for the issue of replacements.
